ONGOING GOALS

ACCESS TO COMPUTERS

Teachers and children at Bawaleshie have limited access to computers or the web. Without this access as they grow and learn, children will struggle to compete in future in the the global economy. HOSIKIDS is working to bridge this technological gap, providing laptops and web access to help children and teachers to tap into the web.

REPAIRING LIBRARIES AND CLASSROOMS

The school has multiple structural issues ranging from potholes in the floors to leaking roofs and lack of electricity. HOSIKIDS hopes to alleviate these problems by repairing and updating the library and the classrooms so that the students can focus on learning.

HEALTHCARE FOR STUDENTS

The majority of children in the community lack adequate healthcare. With the help of generous donations, HOSIKIDS continues to provide healthcare cards for all the children, giving them access to primary care.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Children at Bawaleshie lack many of the basic tools required for academic success.  HOSIKIDS helps by providing school supplies to meet the needs of every child.

RECESS AND SPORTS EQUIPMENT

What happens outside, while children are exercising and playing, are just as important for childrens’ development as classroom learning.  HOSIKIDS is working to nurture the minds and bodies of the children by building a multi-sport court and providing equipment for play and recreation.
